The polymeric surfactant was synthesized from pre-synthesized sodium methyl ester sulfonate<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-37 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/castoroil.in\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/castor-oil-8000671-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Castor oil\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/castoroil.in\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/castor-oil-8000671-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/castoroil.in\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/castor-oil-8000671.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/> (surfactant) and acrylamide for application in chemical enhanced oil recovery.<\/p>\n<p>The synthesized surfactant and polymeric surfactant were used to measure interfacial tension between their aqueous phase and crude oil phase. Contact angles of solid-crude oil-surfactant interface were also measured.
