Castor seed prices improved by Rs 10 to Rs 4,533 per quintal in futures trading as traders created position in line with a firm trend at the physical markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castor seed for delivery in August gained by Rs 10, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 4,533 per quintal, in an open interest of 81,330 lots.
Castor seed for September delivery advanced by Rs 10, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 4,605 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 7,230 lots.
